The 2009 Adventures Coupon books are in. For the Love of Dogs is selling these Dining and Entertainment books as a fundraiser. The books are $30 and they contain over 100 Buy One Get One Free Certficates. These include restaurants, music, theatre, attractions and sports. The book will pay for itself after using several coupons. These books also make wonderful gifts for the holidays. Good news!!!! The new kennel is almost fnished. We are working long hours to get the dogs in before Christmas. All they want for Christmas is to be moved inside. Donations would be greatly appreciated for kennel items such as grooming equipment, new beds for the dogs, medical supplies, and additional kennel panels, etc.. Please click on the DONATE button under the Donate section of the page to make a secure donation.
We are excited to be getting ready for off site adoption events. They will be posted on the website as soon as they are scheduled. Don't wait for an event. Check out our adoptable pet list and make arrangements to meet your next new best friend.
The adoption fee for all dogs is $125 if adopted locally. Out of area adoptions are $150 plus a transport fee . This includes spay/neuter, all vaccinations, heartworm check, deworming, and flea/tick preventative.
Who We Are
For the Love of Dogs was founded because of our commitment to finding permanent homes for dogs tha have been abandoned. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization approved through the IRS. All donations are tax deductible. Funding is strictly through donations. Donations are always welcome and can be in the form of a monetary donation or donations of blankets, sheets, toys, dog treats, etc. For more information about adopting or donating, please contact Pam Vandergriff at forthelovedogs@bellsouth.net.
