For the Love of Dogs
Our Mission
After many years of rescuing all breeds and ages, For the Love of Dogs is still focusing on rescuing smaller senior dogs. Most of our dogs have come from families who can no longer care for dogs or when a loved one passes away and no one in the family can care for them. Please consider fostering a dog even if you can't adopt, and please spay or neuter your pets.
For the Love of Dogs exists solely through donations. Donations are tax deductible. We rescue mostly senior dogs who may not be adopted as quickly as younger dogs. Donations are necessary to provide medical care for these sweet senior babies through no fault of their own have been surrendered to a shelter.

Adoption Policy
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs in Tennessee, please send an e-mail to fortheloveofdogs51@gmail.com for an application. The adoption fees range from $100 - $200 depending on age of the dog if adopted locally. The fee includes spay/neuter, all vaccinations, heartworm check, deworming, and flea/tick preventative.
Because our dogs are mostly over 12 years old, we prefer to restrict adoptions to local area around Chattanooga, TN. We do make exceptions, but prefer them to stay local.
Once an application has been approved, we can make arrangements to meet.
